About CCOE
The Center for Continuing and Outreach Education (CCOE) provides a comprehensive program of continuing education with the goal of improving the quality of patient care by providing lifelong educational opportunities for health care professionals. Looking within Rutgers’ faculty, CCOE enjoys immediate access to scores of undisputed clinical and research leaders in a broad array of diseases states and scientific disciplines.
Along with our roster of content area experts, CCOE also has access to thousands of typical practicing providers through Rutgers’ statewide network of owned and affiliated healthcare facilities. While CCOE does enjoy an impressive network of experts through its Rutgers affiliation, our relationship with first-class talent extends far beyond state lines. In fact, thanks to its university connections, CCOE has had the opportunity to work with the best and the brightest from throughout the world on a broad array of activities. Whatever the subject matter or learning need, CCOE can deliver the right type of expertise.
Accreditation
In support of improving patient care, Rutgers Biomedical and Health is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team
Joint Accreditation also enables CCOE to designate activities for American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA) Category 1 CME Credit and American Psychological Association (APA) credit.
